Publix stores to have barriers for cashiers as virus spreads
In the United States - the Florida headquartered supermarket chain "Publix" is making some changes when it comes to safety amid the coronavirus outbreak. The company recently announced that plexiglass shields are being installed at cash registers and other locations in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. The shields will be installed company-wide at all customer service desks, checkout lines, and pharmacy registers. The chain is one of a number of businesses in the state undertaking protective measures to fight the spread of the virus.
