Poultry Products From Simmons Prepared Food Inc – Recalled
Approximately 2,071,397 pounds of poultry products from Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc, – an establishment in Gentry, Arkansas, has been recalled due to the possible contamination with extraneous material, specifically metal.The U.S Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on November 6 said that the poultry items were produced from October 21 through November 4, 2019.The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-1949,” “P- 486” or “P-5837” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
These items were shipped to institutions in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. The problem was discovered by Simmons Prepared Foods, Inc. establishments during further processing.
